Families in the Stanwood-Camano Community like many other communities are experiencing difficult economic times. The Stanwood-Camano School District participates in the National School Lunch and Breakfast programs. Families whose incomes fall within the program guidelines qualify for health breakfast and lunch meals at free or reduced prices.

Parent Teacher Conferences Coming Soon |

Our parent teacher conferences are scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 19th and Friday, Nov. 20th. It is important that we remember this is a time for teachers to share your child’s progress, successes and maybe some struggles as well as other things that may be happening in the classroom. This is also your time, too. It is a time when you can ask questions and provide the teacher with beneficial information about your child. You may even want to send in a brief note with questions or topics you would like to discuss at the conference.
Remember, these conferences are a very important part of the communication that is necessary for our students to be successful. If you cannot make your conference, please call to reschedule or you can also contact your child’s teacher via email.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CHANGES TO 2009/10 BUS ROUTES
Stanwood-Camano School District’s funding is decreasing in 2009-10 because of the state budget deficit and declining student enrollment. As a result, the district needs to reduce costs in all areas. Unfortunately, these reductions will affect students, families, and district employees. The transportation department has had to make the following adjustments due to these challenging funding declines:
